I bought this as a gift. The book is filled with healthy veggie recipes. My only complaint would be there are two pages of color pictures and that's all that's in the book. I didn't buy it for the pictures, but pictures do make a cook book nice. Someone said the recipes are time consuming, but they're not any more time consuming than regular grilling with meat. Actually, cooking vegan is a time saver. You don't have to worry about sanitizing cutting boards or surfaces or everything that comes into contact with raw meat. And you don't have to worry about keeping raw meat away from veggies or cooked meat. You also don't have to worry about cooking food until and specific internal temperature. So it's definitely easier and quicker. I'm looking forward to the coming up warm season to get the grill out and try the recipes in the book.

New to veganism but a collector of cookbooks; great recipes. My husband even marked some of the pages...looking forward to grilling on the egg.
I had gotten it at the llibrary and had seen my son pathetically trying to grill something on his outdoor grill.
so, I figured this would be perfect for him to tell him what veggetarians GRILL!
his wife seen interested in it , I saw her enthusiastically going thru it when I gave it to him. It included ways to make these healthy things at home indoors, too. it has some interesting recipes.
I'm a huge fan of Ms. Noyes' other cookbooks "American Vegan Kitchen" and "Vegan Sandwiches Save the Day", and while I was hesitant in buying a cookbook about grilling (I don't usually grill), it was a no-brainer that I would get this book because I love her other books so much.

This book is full of great ideas and recipes for grilling outside and inside, or even in the frying pan. She offers a lot of advice on options, different grilling techniques and types of grills. I have a stove top pan for grilling, as well as an electric grill that I don't use often. With the recipes in this book I hope to use it more often.

There are plenty of rubs and marinades that I'm anxious to try, as well as salads, sides and dips. Naturally the first recipe I tried was an Italian tofu marinade and I loved it. (Picture is of the tofu steaks in the marinade).

This cookbook has a great index and great pictures. Five stars out of five from me.
We seem to be eating more vegetables than meat and this book has great recipes.
Tamasin has done it again. We always like the finished product of her recipes. My only criticism would be that sometimes they're a bit complicated with lots of ingredients, but I do thing vegan cooking sometimes requires that to really get big flavor. I LOVE that she included nutrition analysis this time. I book worth having.
We've really enjoyed cooking our way through this cookbook this summer. For some reason the idea of grilling while vegan seemed difficult for me. Tamasin not only helped me get over my mental block, but provides lots of tasty recipes and clear directions, too. A grea companion to any vegan grill.
I love making the amazing creations that Tami comes up with, be it from her books or awesome blog.
This book is such an amazing work, as not only is it chuck full of mouth watering creative recipes, and laid out in such a way that each one is on it's own page/s (A BIG win in my book), but she has also included instructions for both outdoor AND indoor cooking. Wow.
This is a most have for any cook. I am looking forward to a summer full of cooking from this masterpiece.
